Universal Success Principles (

Success Principle...

"Great ideas are useless without positive action".

ASN didn’t always exist.  It was once only an idea that required an enormous amount of work, perseverance and absolute commitment in the face of many obstacles and much adversity.  That meant focusing on the goal, not the obstacles.
If you have a dream, don’t give up.  Don’t let anyone steal it or diminish it in your mind.  If you’ve analyzed it and know that it is sound, workable and worthwhile for yourself and for the public, focus on it and don’t let anything stop you.  YOU CAN DO IT
You can and will succeed, in anything, providing you can focus on your goal and not dwell on the obstacles.
"Obstacles are those things you see when you take your eyes off the goal".  Cavitt Robert.
Everyone—everyday can find a reason to not do the things that they need to do in order to be successful in their chosen endeavor.  Whether it’s ASN or any other business, the easiest thing in the world is to make excuses.  Want success? Get rid of excuses!
If you focus on doing the things that you know need to be done, eventually you will have the positive outcome you are after.  When you focus on your objective, obstacles simply become stepping stones.  When you focus on obstacles, they become brick walls and the objectives that should serve to motivate and inspire you, become invisible It bears repeating…  Obstacles are those things you see, when you take your eyes off the goal.
Don’t focus on problems—focus on Goals and Solutions.
I’m not saying ignore problems.  What I’m saying is give them only the weight and concern they deserve and only when they deserve it.  Do you have to go to court? The day of court, go!  But don’t worry about it for the prior 2 weeks.  Worrying accomplishes nothing other than to create constant anxiety that diminishes your performance on productive endeavors by sucking your energy and focus away from productive thoughts and activities.  Worrying about finances?  Don’t worry about it… DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.  Every moment that you spend simply worrying, is a moment that you are not working on and focusing on fixing it.

Philanthropy is not about giving money but about solving problems. While well-meaning, the idea of writing a check and calling it “philanthropy” is extremely short-sighted and unfortunately, extremely pervasive.
Instead, philanthropist should think like an entrepreneur and think of social challenges as an opportunity to create large enterprises. It’s really easy to create a $1 billion company–you just have to solve a $10 billion problem. Most of these large $10 to $100 billion problems happen to be social problems. That’s why I think that some of the largest opportunity exist for an entrepreneur in solving humanity’s grand challenges.
True philanthropy requires a disruptive mindset, innovative thinking and a philosophy driven by entrepreneurial insights and creative opportunities. To disrupt the status quo, drive philanthropy at tremendous scale, and develop long-term economic vitality through giving, we must apply the same models for success in our philanthropic endeavors as we do in business.
